Save the Date: Career Fair

The Texas A&M University-Commerce Career Development department will host its annual career and internship fair on October 8 from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Rayburn Student Center (RSC).

“This event is the best way to meet and greet with potential employers who have come to campus specifically to hire our students and alumni,” said Employer Relations Coordinator Bethany Ferrall. “Featured employers include Enterprise Rent-a-Car, Fastenal, and Lowe’s Distribution Center. These are just a few of the great employers who will be on campus to recruit you! These companies are seeking interns, part-time, and full-time employees. If you are looking for a job or internship, do not miss this event!”

The A&M-Commerce career and internship fair provides students with the opportunity to meet employers face-to-face. Students can use this event as a networking tool to discuss prospective internships, part-time and full-time employment. Attendees are encouraged to dress in business professional attire, bring multiple copies of their resumes and register online in advance.

“We encourage all students to attend,” said Career Development Director Tina Boitnott. “They can see what a career fair is like, network with potential employers, and look for internships as well as full-time jobs.”
