TAMUC Alum Launches Career with Dallas Mavericks

Bri Mathis, a 2020 graduate of the sport and recreation management program at A&M-Commerce, has accepted a position with the Dallas Mavericks as an event specialist. Most recently, she worked for the NFL Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.
Dr. Clay Bolton, associate professor in the Department of Health and Human Performance, said Mathis was a hard-working student.
“We are proud of her transition from the NFL to an NBA franchise,” Bolton said.
