TAMUC Alum Selected as Principal for Joppa-Maple Grove Schools

According to an article on The Paducah Sun website, A&M-Commerce alum Wendy Wear is the new principal for Joppa-Maple Grove Unit 38 schools in Massac County, Illinois.

Wear earned her master's degree in training and development from A&M-Commerce in 2006. Her career in education spans two decades as an educator and administrator, with stops in Texas, California, Virginia, Arizona and Brazil.

“We are extremely honored to have Wendy Wear as our Joppa-Maple Grove principal,” said school board President Kevin Castleman. “She brings many great qualities and experiences to the district. Her 22 years of expertise will enhance our ability to provide a quality education for all students.”
