TAMUC Music Students to Showcase Talent in Benefit Recital Ahead of Texoma Regional NATS Competition
The Texas A&M University-Commerce School of Music Vocal Division is thrilled to announce a benefit recital featuring 17 talented students on Monday, October 28 in the Recital Hall of the Music Building at 7:30 p.m.
This special event will not only highlight the remarkable skills of these young performers but also serve as a fundraiser to support their participation in the upcoming National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) conference and student competition for the Texoma Region.
The recital will feature a vast selection of pieces, showcasing the students' hard work and dedication as they prepare for the competition. Audiences can expect an evening filled with a variety of musical styles, highlighting the unique talents of each student.
“This recital is an incredible opportunity for our students to gain experience performing in front of an audience,” said Leanne Scaggs, Vocal Division coordinator. “We are so proud of their dedication and are excited to support them as they represent our school and community at the Texoma NATS conference.”
Admission for the benefit recital is free and open to the public with a suggested donation of $20. All proceeds will go directly to covering travel and registration costs for the students attending the conference. Donations may be made using our online marketplace.
Join us for an inspiring evening that celebrates the talent of our young singers and supports their artistic journey. We invite the community to come out and show their support!
