TAMUC Nursing Students Assist With Vaccination Efforts
Students with the Department of Nursing at A&M-Commerce are helping administer COVID-19 vaccinations at multiple locations across Northeast Texas.
More than 20 students have helped inoculate area residents at CHRISTUS Mother Francis Hospital-Sulphur Springs, Hunt Regional Healthcare, Wesley United Methodist Church in Greenville and the Garland Health Department.
“We are proud of our students and glad to have the ability to partner with our health care community to help get this vaccine out to the public,” said Denise Neill, Ph.D., head of the A&M-Commerce Department of Nursing.
