TAMUC Student Shines with Rodeo Pageant Victory
A Texas A&M University-Commerce student took home a pageant crown after being named Queen of the inaugural Miss Rodeo Fort Smith pageant in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Jamara Lang was chosen as the winner of the “Queen” category, which was the most senior division in the competition. The pageant included a showcase of contestants’ horsemanship skills, a questionnaire and a fashion show, with the winners being crowned during the city’s first-annual Bass Reeves Rodeo. Lang is currently working to earn her degree in Equine Studies at A&M-Commerce.
