TAMUC Theatre Faculty Awarded Kennedy Center Medal
Texas A&M University-Commerce Assistant Professor of Playwriting and Theatre Pedagogy Dr. Jackie Rosenfeld was recently honored with the Region 6 Kennedy Center Gold Medallion at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival in Abilene, TX. Region 6 encompasses all of Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana, and the Gold Medallion is the highest honor bestowed by the organization. Rosenfeld began teaching at A&M-Commerce in 2021, and previously taught at Lone Star College, Stephen F. Austin State University, Texas Tech University, Lubbock Christian University and Angelo State University. She has 20 years of college theatre teaching experience.
