Travis Ball Elected 2nd President of National Association of Educational Procurement

The National Association of Educational Procurement (NAEP), the nationwide organization focused exclusively on procurement in higher education, has announced the election of Travis Ball, of Texas A&M University-Commerce, to the office of 2nd Vice President, effective March 29, 2017. Installation of officers took place at a ceremony held during the Association's 96th Annual Meeting in Reno, Nevada, March 26-29.

Mr. Ball currently serves as Chief Procurement Officer and Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Coordinator at Texas A&M University-Commerce. He is an adjunct instructor for the Department of Marketing & Management and the Department of Applied Sciences. He holds a BA in Business Administration in Management and an MS in Management from Texas A&M University-Commerce.

During his 11 years as an NAEP Member, Mr. Ball has presented programs at numerous national and regional meetings and served on the Association's Membership and Program Committees. He received its Young Professionals in Procurement Award in 2009.
