Triple Trifecta: COB Students Awarded PMI Dallas Scholarships and Invited to 40th Anniversary Gala
Three graduate students from East Texas A&M University's College of Business—Princess Odio, Fnu Ritika and Kehinde Imasuen—have been awarded the prestigious Project Management Institute (PMI) Student Scholarships by the Dallas chapter. The scholarships were presented at the organization's 40th Anniversary Celebration, held at Brookhaven Country Club in Farmers Branch, Texas, an event that brought together over 150 professionals, students and industry leaders.
This recognition underscores the students' dedication and potential in the field of project management. Reflecting on the event, Ritika shared, “Receiving the PMI scholarship and attending the 40th Anniversary Celebration was an honor. It not only supports my academic journey but fuels my ambition to make meaningful contributions to the field.”
The gala provided invaluable networking opportunities, connecting attendees with top industry professionals.
“The power of community and mentorship was evident throughout the evening,” said Odio. “It's inspiring to connect with professionals who are shaping the industry and to learn from their journeys.”
Imasuen added, “The PMI Dallas Chapter event was an incredible experience. Celebrating with others committed to positive change and excellence motivates me to push forward in my career.”
Scott Wheeler, dean of the College of Business, praised the students' achievements.
