Tuufuli Named to Second Team All-Southland, First in Division I Era for Lion Volleyball
East Texas A&M University volleyball player Kitana Tuufuli was named Second Team all-Southland Conference, becoming the first player to earn all-conference honors in the program’s Division I era.
Tuufuli (St. Hedwig, Texas) was named to the seven-player second team all-conference list as the Lions went 7-9 in SLC action to tie for seventh place. On the season, Tuufuli totaled 303 kills, 33 blocks and hit .228 for the season. She ranks seventh in the conference with 303 kills.
The sophomore outside hitter is the first all-conference honoree for the Lions in the Division I era and first since 2021.
