University Announces Guaranteed Tuition Plan

Texas A&M University-Commerce will roll out a new guaranteed tuition plan called [in]tuition beginning in the fall semester of 2014. [in]tuition guarantees all students a set rate on tuition and mandatory fees for two or four years, depending on their classification.

“The university's new guaranteed tuition plan – [in]tuition – takes the mystery out of planning for a college education by guaranteeing that tuition and fees will not go up for two or four years,” said President Dan R. Jones. “It's just one more reason that A&M-Commerce is known as ‘the university that cares.'”

[in]tuition is based on Texas House Bill 29 and additional guidance from The Texas A&M University System. The plan eliminates uncertainty about future tuition increases, allowing students and parents to prepare their education budget and encouraging on-time graduation.  The plan not only provides cost savings, but students who graduate on time may also be eligible for up to $2,000 in rebates.
