University to Participate in Social Work Virtual Grad School Fair
By Sara Wray
Texas A&M University-Commerce will participate in the Social Work Grad School Virtual Fair on Oct. 8.
The event is a free virtual fair where participants can learn more about different social work graduate schools and programs. The event will be the first Social Work Virtual Fair that A&M-Commerce has participated in. Participants only have to register one time to meet multiple schools. Participants can attend the fair from anywhere and meet A&M-Commerce representatives in live chat sessions online.
“This virtual fair will help us connect with students from anywhere,” said Jennifer Faunce, College of Education & Human Services graduate recruiter. “We can be anywhere as long as we have a computer with audio and video capability just like Skype, and we can chat like we do on eCollege. The capabilities are endless and ensure that we stay connected with prospective graduate students.”
The virtual fair is hosted by CareerEco and students interested in the virtual fair can register at careereco.com/events/socialwork.
