Adrianna Rodriguez chose to attend A&M-Commerce because of the university's renowned education program and its proximity to her hometown of Richardson, Texas. As a trombone player in middle and high school, she joined the Lion Pride marching band to get involved in the campus community. She also joined the Gamma Phi Beta sorority and eventually served as a resident assistant and Lion ambassador.
Her experiences as an undergraduate student helped her realize her passion for working in higher education. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in history, she worked as a graduate assistant in the Department of History while earning her master's degree. She graduated in 2020 with a master's degree in history and eventually joined the Honors College as an academic advisor to inspire and help her fellow Lions prepare for success. She is now an academic advisor at Texas A&M University in College Station.
