Leadership Philosophy Statement
Leadership is something tangible that cannot be taken lightly. Leaders recognize the uniqueness of the team around them and strive to utilize the differences between each member to form a cohesive unit.
Humility will be the forefront and focus of my leadership philosophy. I want to foster an environment where my team feels safe to voice concerns that may reflect poorly on the department. I want my team to feel comfortable approaching me with ideas and questions that can help improve the department.
The ability to evolve is key to being an effective leader. A leader needs to be their own worst critic in order to better themselves and evolve. As a team we can evolve and achieve success.
