How do you like to stay active?
I like to stay active by going to the gym and playing sports!
What do you like most about your career in Campus Rec?
What I like most about campus recreation is the relationships built with the staff and community members. My prior experience working in campus recreation at the University of Iowa led me to where I am at now in my career path here at Texas East Texas A&M. My interests and personality align well with campus recreation as I look forward to pursuing a career in the industry!
How do you help students at East Texas A&M?
I try to lead by example when it comes to helping students on campus. My graduate assistant role plays a part in helping out our part-time staff to set them up for success. I want to be approachable in how I operate in my graduate assistant position because I believe building relationships is important in Campus Recreation!
What else would you like to share about yourself or your East Texas A&M experience?
Some hobbies of mine include sports (playing and watching), movies, and being around friends and family! I am generally open to any hobbies or activities if my friends or family have any interest. I look forward to being a graduate assistant here at East Texas A&M University to see what the school and area has to offer!
