What is your current employment/career?
I am currently employed as an assistant principal at Crockett Intermediate School in the Paris ISD.
What do you like most about being an assistant principal?
I like helping teachers develop professionally and students achieve academically. I also enjoy working with parents.
How did TAMUC prepare you for your current position?
As the campus coordinator for special education, I attend all ARD/IEP meetings for our campus. The knowledge that I gained in my Special Education classes at A&M-Commerce help me as a campus leader to make sound decisions based on laws and to help guide the committee in making the best decisions for students.
What advice do you have for students?
You will not find a better program when considering price, reliability, and access to staff!
