Jacob Mills has a passion for helping others reach their full potential. He began his career in training and development, later progressing into various technology and leadership roles. Throughout his journey, Jacob has encountered leaders with a wide range of knowledge, skills and capabilities. These experiences sparked his interest in leadership and fueled his desire to develop the next generation of leaders. Jacob firmly believes that strong, competent leaders are essential and takes great pleasure in contributing to their leadership journey.
A Conversation with Jacob Mills
What do you like most about your career?
I believe that everyone has talents, skills or insights that can be invaluable, but many encounter hurdles or challenges that may prevent them from realizing their full potential. I enjoy helping others overcome those challenges and find a meaningful pathway towards successfully achieving their dreams and goals.
Who is one of your role models and how did they impact you?
Two significant role models in my life have been George Finkle III and Jennifer Holbrook. They were both amazing mentors, role models and friends. They took me under their wing as I started my career and they demonstrated what great leadership can be. They were essential in my pursuit of advanced degrees as well as the overall goals and dreams I currently aspire to fulfill.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy many common activities such as spending time with family, but I also enjoy adventurous activies such as traveling and scuba diving. I welcome all opportunities to learn about new technology, and I enjoy trying new things.
