Jody Webb, DMA Adjunct Instructor of Music in Clarinet

Jody Webb is adjunct instructor of clarinet at A&M-Commerce and has taught in the DFW Metroplex for 29 years. His students have placed as prizewinners and finalists in numerous competitions including the International Clarinet Association's High School Competition, the Backun 2017 International Clarinet Competition, the OU Clarinet Symposium's Young Artist Competition, the Clarinet Colloquium's High
School Competition for Clarinet and Bass Clarinet and most recently ICA's Clareidoscope Competition. They have also enjoyed much success in the TMEA All-State and Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra Ensembles. Former students have gone on to win the International Clarinet Association's Young
Artist Competition and to rewarding careers in music as teachers, freelancers, and professional orchestral players.
Dr. Webb has served as the principal clarinetist of the Richardson Symphony and has also performed with the Dallas Winds, Texarkana Symphony Orchestra, East Texas Symphony, Texas Chamber Orchestra and the Garland/Las Colinas Symphony. He won the International Clarinet Association's Orchestral Audition Competition in Stockholm, Sweden, and has performed and presented at the International Clarinet Association Clarinetfest, Texas Music Educators Association Convention, the OU Clarinet Symposium and the Clarinet Colloquium. He was a member of the Artistic Leadership Team for the International Clarinet Association's 2021 ClarinetFest®. Webb is a Backun artist and plays MoBa Grenadilla silver clarinets.
