What is your major or dream career?
I’m a psychology major and my dream career is to become a psychologist and work as a clinical psychologist for the Air Force.
What is your current campus involvement?
I’m president of the Theta Nu chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Vice President of 5:11 campus ministry and two-time Blue Pride Lion camp counselor.
Why do you think it is important to get involved on campus?
It’s important to get involved on campus because it allows you to grow as a leader and as a person! You are able to make friends and connections that can help you along the way! You never know the good benefits that will come from just getting involved and getting to know your peers and professors!
What do you think the role of a Peer Mentor is?
The role of a peer mentor is a role model, a supporter, and an encourager, someone who praises not only the good you’re doing but if you slip and fall someone who can come right along and pick you back up. Someone who is not afraid to be transparent about their own journey!
What’s a valuable piece of advice you might give a student at ETAMU?
All it takes is one step!
