Mallory Vickers Graphic Designer I
- Staff
Mallory Vickers wanted to attend college in a small-town environment where she wasn't overwhelmed by the city and an abundance of people. Texas A&M University-Commerce offered a great at-home feel. While Mallory considered many other colleges, A&M-Commerce just felt right. As an art/photo major, Mallory found excellent resources and education at A&M-Commerce. She even had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience as a student graphic designer, where she found her passion. Mallory loves to create, and as long as she is working on a creative project, she is happy! She enjoys making art and taking photographs, and one day, she plans to travel internationally as a street photographer.
A Conversation with Mallory Vickers
What do you like most about being a graphic designer?
I enjoy that I get to be creative at work and that a lot of my finished works get passed out to thousands of students who are interested in the university, or are already attending. I like that I always get to do something new and help refresh the university from a marketing standpoint through graphic design. I also get to take photos at our Enrollment Management events on campus and interact with students and faculty.
How do you help students at A&M-Commerce?
I like to think that the products my team and I produce help students decide whether they want to attend the university. I can help influence their decision by providing engaging printed products that help inform potential students about our university.
