Melissa Ugalde Graduate Enrollment Specialist for the College of Business
Melissa Ugalde, born in a small city in Querétaro, Mexico, moved to Greenville, Texas at the age of 10 in pursuit of a better education. After high school, she continued her studies at Paris Junior College. Eager to advance her education, Melissa transferred to UT Tyler, where she earned her BBA. Now residing in Greenville, she is plans to further her academic journey with a master's degree at A&M-Commerce in the near future. Melissa’s educational journey is a testament to her determination and ambition, inspiring college students to pursue their dreams no matter where they begin.

How do you help students in your current role?
I help students by guiding them through the admission and registration process, so that they can pursue their graduate studies.
What is an important life lesson you’ve learned?
Don’t take life for granted.
What do you like to do when you’re not working?
I enjoy exercising and spending time with friends.
