A Conversation with Rebekah

Tell us a little about your work.

I have over ten years of experience working as a graphic designer in higher education. I have also taught private art lessons to kids, adults and special needs students for over ten years. In addition, I’ve worked on a number of freelance projects, designing logos for local businesses, including t-shirts, event flyers, animations, and album art for local music.

What do you like most about your career?

I enjoy working as an in-house graphic designer in marketing and communications at a university, specifically. I feel good about what we do as a team, creating bold, inspiring messaging and visuals to help get students excited about learning.

What would you tell a student who is thinking about attending A&M-Commerce?

A&M-Commerce is a wonderfully supportive environment. There are so many opportunities and programs here for whatever you're interested in. It's a fun and encouraging place to be. Go Lions!
