Every day, I look forward to working with students in one of my favorite areas: technology. It’s hands-down the best thing ever!

Technology “sparks” joy for Sarah (pun intended)! She grew up in a family where her parents and siblings dove deep into high-tech projects, just for fun. Now, her sons have also inherited the technology “bug.” As a testing and assistive technology coordinator, Sarah enjoys helping others while doing something she loves.
A Conversation with Sarah
What would you tell a student who is thinking about attending A&M-Commerce?
If you are considering A&M-Commerce, I would recommend checking out the campus in person. I believe you will be impressed by the friendliness and the level of excellence here! As an added bonus, A&M-Commerce is tucked away in the Texas countryside, just east of Dallas. It is a unique blend of urban and rural—the best of both worlds!
What do you like most about your role here at A&M-Commerce?
After my first visit to campus, I knew that this is the place I wanted to work. I naturally gravitate to technology-focused jobs, and my position in SDS allows me to help students reach their best potential through technology. I grew up in a family where creating tech solutions was a fun pastime. When other families might've been out fishing, my family was browsing the aisles of Fry's technology superstore and hashing out computer and security solutions. I feel lucky to have a job where I can apply my interest and skills in technology to help students. I look forward to it every day!
