Why do you think it is important to get involved on campus?

It is important to get involved on campus because it is an opportunity to make friends and have connections.

What do you think the role of a Peer Mentor is?

To help new incoming students find the resources they need along with being a friend or someone they can feel comfortable talking to.

What’s a valuable piece of advice you might give a student at ETAMU?

Change your mindset when it comes to school, although there are days where one doesn’t feel like themselves there has to be that moment where we have to remind ourselves how privileged we are. Not everyone gets the opportunity to pursue a goal or career they dream of. So if you have the opportunity to chase your dreams put your all and don’t look back. If you fail, it’s okay, because you aren’t born into this world knowing everything, make sure to take it easy and pick yourself back up.
