Why Attend a Registration Rally?
We are here to support you! Our full-service Registration Rally event provides future Lions with on-site enrollment services.
Attendees will have the ability to engage in the following activities:
- Apply for admission and receive an admission decision on-site.
- Meet with an academic advisor, review your degree plan and leave with a class schedule in hand.
- Meet with student accounts to understand your cost of attendance and payment options.
- Meet one-on-one or schedule a virtual meeting with a financial aid counselor.
- Learn more about other essential enrollment checklist items!

Helpful Hints
Here are a few helpful hints to make the best of your Registration Rally or Peak Week experience:
- Visit tamuc.edu/apply to begin your application for admission. Take note of the username and email used to submit the application. You will need this information to retrieve information regarding the status of your application.
- Please bring a copy of any school transcripts where you have previously attended or you can use our secure document upload tool.
- Submit the TASFA or FAFSA and list our FAFSA code: 003565
- It is best to have a major in mind before attending the Registration Rally and meeting with your academic advisor for course registration. With over 75 undergraduate programs, you’ll find a degree that matches your research interests and career goals.
- We understand that college is a major investment and we want to help you find the best options available for paying these costs. Visit our Cost and Aid webpage and come prepared with questions.
- Students who choose to live on campus in our residential living centers benefit from a supportive environment, make lifelong friends and participate in exciting university activities. If you have already been admitted before attending the Registration Rally and are considering living on campus, start your application now by visiting the Residential Living and Learning link in MyLeo to get started.
- After your admission to East Texas A&M, you should activate your MyLeo student portal by visiting the university home page and selecting the login icon. Your username is your CWID (campus wide ID number) and your password is your birthdate in this format: (example…June08202001). You will be prompted to change/update your password.
- Texas Senate Bill 62 requires all students under age 22 who are entering an institution of higher education (public and private) to either receive a vaccination against bacterial meningitis or meet certain criteria to decline the vaccination 10 days before the first day of the semester. Begin the verification process today: https://www.tamuc.edu/meningitis-req/
- Texas Success Initiative Assessment (TSIA2) is required. All new incoming students are required to complete assessments until documentation showing state exemption is provided. Review TSI2A requirements before the Registration Rally to plan for assessment or submitting documentation.
