Save the Date: Humanities Networking Night
The Texas A&M University-Commerce Career Development department will host Humanities Networking Night on Sept. 24 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Rayburn Student Center.
“The Humanities Networking Night is an exclusive opportunity for students to meet professionals who could be their future employers and possibly even learn about a new profession in their field they may not have previously considered,” said Employer Relations Coordinator Bethany Ferrall. “Employers love attending these events because they get to see top notch students in a true networking environment. Any student or alumnus who is looking for a job or internship should attend this event to take the next step in their career.”
This event will provide students with an opportunity to network with professionals in various fields of study. Food will be catered, and participants are encouraged to register online. Students and employers can register at www.tamuc.edu/hirealion/.
“We are excited to collaborate and put on this event for all humanities students,” said Career Development Director Tina Boitnott. “Remember, it's not always what you know but who you know.”
