TAMUC’s Whitley Hall Renovations Recognized in National Publication
The renovations completed at the Whitley residence hall at Texas A&M University-Commerce in 2022 were recently featured in an issue of American School and University Magazine, a publication that boasts of keeping those involved in education up to speed on the latest trends, technologies and strategies that are driving the education facilities and business market. The Whitley renovations, which saw a complete overhaul of the entire first floor, were described in the publication as a student-centric project that offers engaging, collaborative and relaxed spaces for first-year students. Whitley Hall, completed in 1970, is the oldest residence hall still in use at A&M-Commerce and remains an iconic landmark of the Commerce skyline, standing 12 stories tall.
