Graduate Record Exam (GRE)

The Graduate Record Exam (GRE) is often required of individuals applying to graduate schools. If you are unsure whether or not you are required to take the GRE, please contact the graduate school you are planning to attend to learn about their requirements.

The East Texas A&M Testing Center offers GRE Subject Tests. They do not proctor the GRE General Test.

Law School Admission Test (LSAT)

The Law School Admission Test (LSAT) is a half-day standardized test required for admission to all ABA-approved law schools, most Canadian law schools, and many non-ABA-approved law schools. It provides a standard measure of acquired reading and verbal reasoning skills that law schools can use as one of several factors in assessing applicants. Many law schools require that the LSAT be taken by December for admission the following fall. However, taking the test earlier (in June or October) is often advised.

East Texas A&M does not proctor the LSAT at the East Texas A&M Testing Center.

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)

The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL®) covers all facets of English proficiency, including spoken English and grammar. The test measures the ability of non-native speakers of English to use and understand English as it is spoken, written and heard in college and university settings.

East Texas A&M does not offer the TOEFL® at the East Texas A&M Testing Center.
