University Gallery Hosts Graduate Student’s Exhibition
The University Gallery at Texas A&M University-Commerce will exhibit the work of current M.F.A. student Lisa Tyndell Batchelder from October 18 to November 1. The exhibit, titled “Unearthing: Manifestations of Patterns and Forms,” explores what Batchelder calls “The Verge”—the point where materials and making meet, exploring the philosophical emergence of inspirations and relations in creative forces. Batchelder’s work challenges traditional boundaries, emphasizing the transformative power of materials shaping new artistic expressions. An artist reception will be held on October 22 from 5 to 7 p.m. The University Gallery is free and open to the public Mondays through Fridays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Learn more about Art at A&M-Commerce.
